Westcreek
Westcreek is a great little pocket off of William Cannon and Hwy 290, just west of Mopac. As you can see from the multiple links included with this neighborhood information, this is a community with a strong pulse, and a community that knows one another.
Westcreek was mainly built out through the 1980’s in Austin. The sizes of the homes in Westcreek range from around 1300 sq ft to 2700 sq ft. In 2009, they saw 25 sales between January 1 an dDecember 31, with a high sale of $258,500, and a low sale of $182,500. The average home in Westcreek sold for about $214,000 and was just under 2000 sq ft. Homes in this area are also quite desirable based on the fact that the average home sold within 98% of list price, and the lowest sale sold within 95% of list price.
Because this home is in a desirable area with great AISD schools, the homes sell fast (37 days on market is average), and quite close to their list price. This community is also desirable because it is a little older which lends to larger trees, shade lined streets and you might feel that the average lot is bigger than some newer communities built out in the late 90’s to early 00’s.
Schools serving this area are: Patton Elementary, Clint Small Middle School, and Austin High School.
